VI Scientific signs an agreement with TechReady

VI Scientific Ltd is proud to announce that it signed an agreement with TechReady that makes VisionHunt™ available to the blind and visually impaired in UK.

 

VisionHunt™ is the flagship product of VI Scientific Ltd with the following functionality: color recognition, light source detection, light level awareness and Euro Bank Note recognition. VisionHunt™ seamlessly calibrates for the different lighting conditions and can return very accurate color readings and recognize the Euro bank notes even in dim lighting conditions. VisionHunt™ is compatible with all major screen readers and currently runs on Nokia 3rd edition, Series 60 devices in eight languages.

TechReady is a private limited company dedicated to providing access solutions within the United Kingdom and EU markets.  The company was formed in 2006 as an extension of a 10 year old leading American assistive technology provider, Enablemart.com. Since its inception, TechReady has augmented its staff and its national network of strategic alliances to include leading charities, local governments, and prime contractors for assessments and services on behalf of the national Job Centre Plus, Access to Work programme.  Managing Director, Maren Moon, and Sales Director, Gabriel Swatzell, have also been working closely with Microsoft in the US and in the UK in order to help close the gap of access on behalf of elderly or isolated individuals. TechReady’s management team is comprised of 4 key solution providers and is supported nationally by auxiliary interns, and contract employees.  Among the management team, Amir Mann is a certified MCSA with 7 years experience in visual impairment solutions for fully blind individuals. Mr Mann has supported visually impaired individuals in 3 countries and is fluent in English, German, Punjabi, and Hindi. He is also proficient in several other languages in a spoken capacity.  Adam Holdsworth has 13 years experience in visual impairment solutions and has extensive experience and training in technical assessments in both visual impairment and dyslexia. Sales Director, Gabriel Swatzell is a certified Assistive Technology Practitioner. Mr Swatzell received his credentials via the Advanced Professional Development for Assistive Technology and Applications Certificate offered by the California State University Northridge. Managing Director, Maren Moon, has 4 years intensive AT experience and several years in middle and upper management among Blue Chip companies with an emphasis on sales, marketing and distribution on a national level within the United States. She holds both academic and professional credentials in multiple business capacities. Ms Moon has acted as a professional consultant in relation to disability awareness training and responsibility codes – and maintains critical awareness in this field.
