VisioHunt 2.6 for the iPhone
25-Feb-2011
Whats new in VisionHunt 2.6 for the iPhone.
Version 2 6 is built upon a completely redesigned interface that uses tab bar navigation. Each group of tools, options and help buttons has its own screen for better categorization. In our next release, we will be adding an extra screen that will feature a customizable list of the favorites tools for the user.
In the tabbed interface, the first screen of VisionHunt is now called “basic tools” and it includes the color and light tools. The second screen is called “Currency Tools”, and third is the “Options” screen the the last screen “Help and More”.
Another major change is the introduction of euro bill detection. The user can switch between dollars and euros from the options screen.
In the basic tools, we are introducing 3 new tools in this version for discovering spotted, broad and faint light sources respectively. As a result, the original “light source detection” tool is scrubbed. We will be adding a tool for identifying the color of faint light sources such as the color of LEDs.
The light level tool is completely redesigned to include more accuracy and better outdoors support.
The options screen contains a setting that allows the user to adjust the rate at which visionhunt processes the camera frames. The option is called frame speed and can be adjusted by selecting the corresponding button. The default value of this setting is "fast". However, if you feel like visionhunt cannot run that fast on your phone or ipod, you can adjust this speed to moderate or even slow.
