VI Scientific Ltd develops visual aid mobile software for the blind and the visually impaired. We currently support Nokia S60 3rd Edition phones and the iPhone (with VoiceOver). Windows Mobile are no longer supported. We will even support the iPad, as soon as it is shipped with a camera!

October 31, 2011: VisionHunt 2.6.1 ready for download. Major fix for its light level tool. iOS 5 tested.

 

October 18, 2011: We have finiliazed VisionHunt 2.6.1 to work with iOS 5 Devices. We are happy to announce that we will be posting the software on iTunes in a few days. In this update, we have fixed the Light Level tool to work that did not work for iOS 4.3.

 

October 17, 2011: Preliminary tests show that VisionHunt works for a iPad 2, iOS 5.

 

 

 

July 12, 2011: Light Level tool for the iOS version to be working again fine with iOS 5.  

 

April 25, 2011: Happy easter to all. Ten fold price drop on VisionHunt for iPhone. Compatible with iOS 4.2

 

April 15, 2011: iOS 4.3 and its latest update are still not compatible with VisionHunt's light level and light source tools. We have filed a report with Apple.

 

March 16, 2011: VisionHunt 2.6 has camera issues with iOS 4.3 and we are working on an update to fix them as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

 

March 15, 2011: VisionHunt 2.6 Color Edition update soon to be released.

December 17, 2010: VisionHunt 2.5.2 update now offers better support for Polish Zlotty detection as well as an upgraded Fast Currency Detection tool that uses sound guides. In addition, Czech language is added.

 

November 25, 2010: VisionHunt 2.5 Full Edition for the iPhone is released on the iTunes store! Just search for VisionHunt from within the iTunes Application, Section Apps.

 

October 28, 2010: VisionHunt 2.5 is released! It features a couple of experimental scanning tools: a surface and a table scanner. Plus, it features major improvements for the money scanning tools with an accuracy of 99.99%. Read all about it

 

October 28, 2010: VisionHunt 2.2 Color edition for the iPhone got a major price drop on the iTunes store!

  

August 19: The iPhone version of VisionHunt Color is now available on iTunes. View screen shots here.

 

July 8: After thousands of testings, we are happy to offer VisionHunt 2.2 for Nokia devices with the much improved US dollar bill recognition. Now, VisionHunt adiditionally recognizes the 1 dollar bill and ingores the 100 bill.  The iPhone version will soon follow on the iTunes store.
